On The Cross Ministries is run as a means of 
presenting Jesus  to local communities, in a non-confrontational way. 

You see, Jesus never said, "Stand in church 
doorways and invite  people to come in". He said, 
"Go out into the world to preach,  baptise and make disciples" and he also said, "You shall be my 
witnesses to the ends of the earth" We have found that when God calls you to do something, it's easier 
to let go of your fears and  concerns, your doubts 
and anxieties and just let God direct you. 

At my accreditation service as a  Methodist Local Preacher, I was told, "Whatever God calls you to do, 
He will equip you to do" and  this has been so true 
of this ministry: resources, people,  opportunities - it's really exciting to stand back and watch God at work!

That is basically what we believe has been God's particular call  on our lives since May 2006. We load up the car with tracts, Bibles, Gospels, and Christian literature, table, signs,  and even a gazebo for outdoors. We attend fun days, festivals, galas, Christmas Fayres and so on, and endeavour to present not just the name 
of Jesus, but the face and the heart and the very presence of Jesus, in an attempt to meet the spiritual needs of those we encounter, and also encouraging and resourcing local Christians.
